Toyota Canada Releases August Sales Results

TORONTO, Ontario – September 4, 2024 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) continues to see strong demand for its electrified vehicles, reaching a record of 11,610 units sold in August 2024, up 26.5% year-over-year.
These electrified vehicles sales represented 60.8% of overall August TCI sales. For the Toyota Division, electrified vehicles sales also represented 60.8% of all units sold in August 2024 while electrified vehicles represented 60.4% of all Lexus Division units sold in August 2024.
A total of 3,667 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, comprised of EV, PHEV and FCEV) units were among the electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in August, representing a record month for ZEV sales volume. These strong ZEV sales were helped by record months for Toyota RAV4 Prime, bZ4X and Lexus NX 450h+.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 19,103 vehicles in August 2024, down 3.1 % from August 2023.
Toyota division saw August sales of 16,683 units sold, down 2.5% from August 2023.
Lexus division saw August sales of 2,420 units sold, down 6.9% from August 2023.
