Toyota Canada Releases November Sales Results

TORONTO, December 3, 2024 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) continues to see strong demand for its electrified vehicles, reaching a November record of 10,785 electrified units sold, up 21.4% year-over-year.
These electrified vehicles sales represented 56.6% of overall November TCI sales. For the Toyota Division, electrified vehicles sales represented 57.0% of all units sold in November 2024 while electrified vehicles represented 53.5% of all Lexus Division units sold in November 2024.
A total of 2,302 Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV, comprised of EV, PHEV and FCEV) units were among the electrified Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold in November, representing a record November for ZEV sales volume. These strong ZEV sales were helped by a record November for Toyota RAV4 Prime (up 53.6%) as well as strong sales of Prius Prime (up 689.5%).
Numerous hybrid-powered nameplates reached November sales records, including:
- Tundra Hybrid (up 60.0%)
- RAV4 Hybrid (up 16.4%)
- Highlander Hybrid (up 121.5%)
- Grand Highlander Hybrid (up 36.5%)
- Sequoia Hybrid (up 100.0%)
- Sienna (up 97.6%)
- Lexus RX Hybrid (up 6.1%)
- Lexus TX Hybrid (up 37.5%)
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) sold 19,069 vehicles in November 2024, down 7.9% from November 2023.
Toyota division saw November sales of 16,565 units sold, down 9.3% from November 2023.
Lexus division saw November sales of 2,504 units sold, up 2.7% from November 2023.
