For over 60 years, Toyota has turned a passion for motorsports into high performance vehicles. In 1957 engineers volunteered to build a car worthy of the racing circuit.

Ever since we’ve been racing, learning, innovating and winning. From the Baja 1000 to the Indy 500. From Formula 1 to Formula GT. From NASCAR to Dakar. Racing is the ideal training ground.

Our chairman, Akio Toyoda is also our master driver. By taking to the road and handling vehicles himself, Akio embodies the Toyota philosophy: “Roads build people, and people build cars.”

WEC

As part of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s most punishing race. In 2021, Toyota hybrid race cars placed 1st for the 5th straight year as well as 2nd for the 2nd year in a row. An unparalleled feat of performance and fuel efficiency.
