If reliability is important to you, you’re not alone. Survey data suggests Canadians value vehicle dependability more than many other nationalities.*
Of course, the true benefit of reliability comes through the confidence of knowing that if something unexpected happens on the road, you’re in good hands.
For Toyota, supporting owners isn’t just about the durability of our vehicles or even a comprehensive warranty, but also about giving support for all kinds of eventualities that come up on the road.
For three years with unlimited kilometers, new Toyota owners enjoy peace of mind knowing that in these six situations Toyota Roadside Assistance will have their back.
1. You’re locked out of your vehicle
It only takes a momentary lapse in concentration, and you’re locked outside your vehicle with the keys inside. The realization of what has happened doesn’t need to turn into panic. Rather than finding out how to unlock your vehicle, simply call Roadside Assistance for their lockout service.
2. You have a flat tire
If you’ve suffered the inconvenience of a flat tire, one thing that can help make the experience a little less of an ordeal is not having to change the tire yourself.
If you have a spare tire ready to go, a Toyota Roadside Assistance service provider will make the switch.
3. Your vehicle is stuck
Whether you are stuck in snow, mud or a ditch, winching is available via Toyota approved service partners to get you back on the road. If your Toyota is unable to continue after winching, the towing benefits of the Roadside Assistance package apply.
4. You ran out of gas or electric charge
Misjudged the distance to the next gas station? Don’t worry, Toyota Roadside Assistance will deliver gasoline to your stranded vehicle – including the cost of gas up to five litres.
For battery electric vehicles or hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles your vehicle will be towed to the nearest charging station or fueling station.
5. Your vehicle broke down
Toyota’s renowned reliability means your vehicle is unlikely to breakdown. But should the unexpected happen new Toyota owners can have peace of mind. Toyota Roadside Assistance will arrange for towing of your vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealership within 300km (or your preferred dealership within 50km).
6. You need a battery boost
If you accidentally ran down your vehicle’s battery, say, by forgetting to turn the lights off, you won’t have to deal with the flat battery on your own. Toyota Roadside Assistance will be able to get you going again as soon as possible. Even if your Toyota doesn't start after a battery boost, they will tow your vehicle to where the problem can be fixed.
